The Centre is a non-profit, independent institution dedicated to conducting research that contributes to a more robust public discourse about the structures and processes that shape life in India. The Urbanisation Focus Area at CPR is a research platform exploring India’s urbanisation challenge. It aims to initiate and influence policy debates on urban issues such as governance, economics, social inclusion and ecology of the Indian city.
